If the kidneys are damaged our body can be in great danger. If in case such issue appears, then we need to learn to recognize the signs.
The most common symptoms of damaged kidneys:
  • Skin rash – the work of kidneys fail if there is a waste buildup in the body. This causes itchy skin and rashes. Thus, if the kidneys cannot filter the blood and remove the buildup of waste, the skin will look irritated, dry, and unhealthy. Creams and lotions can ease this situation, however, if this issue is caused by kidney damage, then an adequate treatment will help.
  • Fatigue – erythropoietin is produced by healthy kidneys and this is a hormone which produces red blood cells. They are needed as they supply the oxygen so that our body can function properly.   • Metallic taste in the mouth – waste deposits in the blood may lead to appearance of bad breath or a strange taste in the mouth. Damaged kidneys can cause you to have a change in the taste of some foods and will decrease your appetite.
